Folks here we have a new coating that helps with self cleaning, its durable and protects the vehicle. The easiest product for anyone wanting to keep a coating looking and working well. It can also be used on its own. This would be great for Autumn and Winter when you want to keep the vehicle clean but don't have time to wash each few days.
The end result of course depends on how good the paint was originally but this car was already machine polished & coated with a graphene coating earlier this year. As a result the gloss is amazing! Artdeshine is the first automotive care products brand to successfully harness the benefits of Graphene applied as a surface protection coating that exhibits enhanced tensile strength, durability as well as flexibility. Artdeshine's Nano Graphene coating is also extremely capable at reducing heat absorption, the main cause of ugly water-etching spots that ruins the surface of your paint. It is also corrosion and chemical resistant, protecting your paintwork from bird droppings, tree sap, dead bugs and other harsh chemicals. D.Detailing tested several products including their 1 yr coating - BX Graphene. Results were very impressive. D.Detailing is now working with one Finnish detailing shop to become the distributor for ArtdeShine's Graphene product range in Finland. Week # 14-15 This week I have been asked by Autohoitokauppa www.autonhoitokauppa.fi to test some of their fantastic range of products. I will be updating you all on this product and future products. In the meantime check this shop out. Week # 15 - Testing complete - S1 Innovacar Wash and Coat This week I received S1 Innovacar Wash and Coat from Janne @ Autohoitokauppa. This is the world’s first SiO2 enzyme-based shampoo for detailers. It claims to deeply cleanse, protect and prolong the life of previously applied coatings. It's a tall claim so I put it to the test. Ok, so I tried the door panel and front hood on my car. It was clearly a good test as road grime had dried into my freshly Si02 coated car. The hood was a mess also having had bird poo from Spring excited birds :( First thoughts. This product is best put on using a sprayer (20mls in 1L of water). I first did a short rinse of the panel with my power washer. Then I added S1 to the panel, washed with a wet mitt and rinsed off with water immediately. My first impressions and thoughts are 1. I was super concerned about the lack of suds and lubricity of the liquid when rubbing my wet mitt on the panel. It feels wrong to do this without a good cm of suds under my mitt. Ok, so once I got over my detailer's worst nightmare, I started to see the hydrophobic layer forming on the surface. At this point I thought maybe it's not bad. Rinsing it off I really was starting to get excited...yep Detailer's dream...beads, beads and more beads of lovely forming water. Wow! Ok, so what is this enzyme cleaning all about. According to their website, Innovacar have developed an enzyme shampoo that eats away at dirt molecules. Honestly, I dont know if this really works in that space of time that it took me to wash my panel but the claim about hydrophobic layering on the surface that is suppose to last 4 months seems credible. Overall, this product is in a market where Si02 top upper coatings are now coming into fashion. We recently saw Turtle Wax Ceramic Hybrid Shampoo. Very similar action. Application wise, it reminds me of Optimum No Rinse. The beading on the other hand reminds me a-lot of Gyeon Wet Coat's product. That is a monster beader! I think if you have invested in a ceramic coating and you want to keep that "sacrificial" layer intact, then this might well me a good option to test out. I will leave you with the drooling dreams of a detailer in this last picture :) |
